My Christmas Present to myself

The moment that I saw these shoes I just knew that I had to have them. ( Thats the story of my life) I found them on sale at Amazon.com and wanted one in every color. But I decided silver was the way to go. Keep it neutral but away from black. I wanted these shoes to pop with excitement.

Oh Victoria!

I have always loved Victoria Beckham. Back when the spice girls first came out in '97, she was my favorite. I have been a true fan of hers ever since and have followed her throughout her career. I love her persona, her style, and her attitude!! If you are as big a fan as I am, then you definitely need to check out her book called "That Extra Half Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between." Its got tons of pictures and talks all about how she feels a woman should dress.

I think this color combination for the shoes is amazing. I am loving some gold and pink.

Am I going to school?? HMMM??

So I have been doing some research and to my surprise, I may be able to go back to school. I already have my degree in Fashion Merchandising, but I have always wanted a degree in Fashion Design. Right after high school, I didn't think I could afford to go to a technical school. Now in my life right now, I think I can make it work. I can go to school all online which is exactly what I need!!! I will definitely be posting more about this. Stay tuned!!!

Organizing

So I am going through all of my old magazine clippings and I have decided to scan them into my computer. I have so many that it is probably going to take me at least 6 months. I think this is a great way to share some of the things that inspire me. Ever since I can remember, anything that I thought that was beautiful or even if it was something that I wanted to re-create or buy I would just cut it out of a magazine. So if you can imagine I have an endless amount of clippings and one day I hope to have them all uploaded on my blog for all to see.

I love this shirt and how it is styled on the model. I was thinking about making one like it, but I may just order it from the catalog. So cute!!!!

Oh wow, over two months since I have posted a blog!!! I promise I am going to put some new stuff on here soon. I have been working a lot and working on getting a lot done. I've got pictures to post and stories to tell.

Some things I bought

I got some amazing scrapbook paper and I am so excited to use them, now I just need to take more pictures so that I can scrap. I added a few of my favorite pages too and some rubber stamps that I bought.

This is where I get half of my craftiness from on my dad's side of the family. This was my Great Grandmother Waverly Evans or as we all called her Bummy. This was her Grand Ole Opry quilt, she had got musicians autographs and then hand stitched them onto this quilt.

My First Blog Ever!!!

I just wanted to publish my first post to let everyone know what this blog is all about. I have so many thing going on in this head of mine that I thought I would let the world in on my maddness. What my blog is about is how fashion, art, people, places, and things influence me in my creative thinking. I love to do all sorts of crafty things so I will be posting pictures soon!
