On day 3 we were able to go for a walk and visit. I kept telling my husband that we should be able to smell the store from a block away ( I had heard that from the TV show). We finally caught a whiff of something that didn't smell like garbage on the streets. To me it smelled like incense. Rue asked me if that was it. I didn't think so, I thought it would smell more fruity. Sure enough that was the store we were smelling.
I don't know if I had really high expectations or if I had hyped the store up in my head all these years but I felt like a lot of their products smelled the same. I picked up different soaps, lotions, bath bombs, etc. Everything had the same scent. I was able to pick out a couple that I thought I would enjoy though.
The heavanilli massage bar was the only one that I purchased. The other ones looked way cuter, but I didn't like the smell. This one, when I rub it on me some of the pink comes off on your skin. Once you rub it in though it kinda goes away. Basically this is a lotion/massage bar. Nice concept, it should last me a long time.
This is the sex bomb. I actually did a report on the LUSH store in college. We had to pick a business to write a paper on why we liked it so much. This sex bomb had just come out back then and I wanted to feature it in the report. When I saw this one in the store, I knew even if it smelled bad, I had to get it. Thankfully it doesn't smell bad and I can't wait to use it.
